Hi! I'm Kristina Baker-
While other kids were watching professional sports and enjoying the hot dogs, I was busy watching the athletic trainers! After getting accepted into a fast track in a Physical Therapy program and fell in love with the challenge it presented- helping bodies feel better, whether they’re a few months old or nearing 100 years. Pain, and it's relation to our bodies, was a new puzzle with every person.
I’m a mother and a military spouse, which means I know first-hand just how important it is that your body be able to keep up with a busy life. This is why I believe it’s so important to blend physical therapy and fitness training.
Physical therapy focuses on fixing problems and fitness training is all about challenging your body for growth. Pairing the two means we not only heal what is causing us pain, but also make our bodies more functional, stronger, and adaptable to all of the curveballs life throws us.

“WE ARE WHAT WE REPEATEDLY DO. EXCELLENCE THEN IS NOT AN ACT BUT A HABIT.”

My approach
It's pretty simple- our first conversation will cover your current exercise experience and talk about back pain, knee pain, or maybe you've got some plantar fasciitis. We’ll talk about your lifestyle, your habits, and what kind of demands you have on your time… If your job keeps you at a desk all day, your toddlers keep you on your toes, or your country needs you to be ready at a moments notice- we’re going to talk about it all so I can help you with a program that actually meets you where you are- this isn’t another cookie-cutter program that won’t take into account your actual needs.

Back squats feel great and you’re ready for more weight? Awesome! Let’s up that weight slowly…. Knee pain is keeping you from running with your kids? Let’s figure out why and see what we can do together to fix it. Your plan changes as your body changes and I’ll recommend a wide array of movement to get your body back into fighting shape.
